"There have been many lies written about me and I want people to know that unless they hear it from me, don't believe it. I'm just a person who wants to be honest and do good, make people happy through the talent that God has given me." Michael Jackson

General Information About the 1993 Case
In 1993, Michael Jackson was accused of abuse by Evan Chandler, on behalf of his then-13-year-old child, Jordan Chandler. Jackson and Jordan had become friends in May 1992, to the father's disapproval and concern. The friendship became well known, as the tabloid media reported that Jackson became a member of the Chandler family unit. Under the influence of a controversial sedative administered by Evan Chandler, his son said that Jackson had touched his penis. Evan Chandler was tape-recorded threatening to damage the singer's music career, and engaged Jackson in unsuccessful negotiations to resolve the issue with a financial settlement.
Jackson's Neverland Ranch was searched by police. Other children and family members had stated that Jackson was not a pedophile.
Jackson became dependent on drugs as the stress of the allegations mounted, and canceled the remainder of his Dangerous World Tour. He went into rehabilitation overseas. On his return to the United States, Jackson agreed to a 25-minute strip search, which was required to see if the description of his genitals provided by Jordan Chandler was accurate. Doctors concluded that there was not a definitive match. Jackson proclaimed his innocence, and criticized the media coverage. Jackson's friends and legal advisers took over his defense and finances, persuading him to settle the allegations out of court.
Tabloid reaction to the allegations was negative towards Jackson ; they were accused of bias, accepting stories of criminal activity for money, and engaging in illegal activities themselves Public polls at the time reported that a large majority of people believed Jackson was
Recorded Conversation With Evan Chendler
Evan Jordy Chandler-Molestation Extortion Scheme
On July 2, 1993, in a private telephone conversation, Chandler was tape-recorded as saying,
There was no reason why he [Jackson] had to stop calling me...I picked the nastiest son of a bitch I could find [Evan Chandler's lawyer, Barry Rothman], all he wants to do is get this out in the public as fast as he can, as big as he can and humiliate as many people as he can. He's nasty, he's mean, he's smart and he's hungry for publicity. Everything's going to a certain plan that isn't just mine. Once I make that phone call, this guy is going to destroy everybody in sight in any devious, nasty, cruel way that he can do it. I've given him full authority to do that. Jackson is an evil guy, he is worse than that and I have the evidence to prove it. If I go through with this, I win big-time. There's no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever...Michael's career will be over."
—Evan Chandler
In the same conversation, when asked how this would affect his son, Chandler replied, "That's irrelevant to me...It will be a massacre if I don't get what I want. It's going to be bigger than all us put together...This man [Jackson] is going to be humiliated beyond belief...He will not sell one more record".
Who Is Diane Dimond And How Is She Involved In This Case?
Diane Dimond is the former host of Hard Copy who has apparently declared herself the expert on the Michael Jackson case. She's obviously very close to the District Attorney Tom Sneddon but is far from accurate in her reporting. Here's a little history lesson on Diane Dimond:
- In 1993, Dimond did a segment with two of Jackson's former bodyguards. They claimed they were fired because they knew too much about Jackson's alleged relationships with young boys. Dimond swore that the bodyguards were not paid for their story. A contract later revealed that they were given $100,000 to appear on her show. When taken to court, both bodyguards admitted that they had made the whole thing up.
- That same year, Jackson's former maid Blanca Francia appeared on Hard Copy claiming she'd seen Jackson naked with young boys. A copy of Francia's testimony reveals that Hard Copy paid her $20,000 to make this story up. Again, under oath, the disgruntled ex-employee admitted she had lied.
- A man named Victor Gutierrez appeared on Hard Copy claiming he'd seen a tape of Michael Jackson sexually abusing his nephews. Dimond later repeated his comments on a Los Angeles TV station. When it was proven that Gutierrez made the entire thing up, Jackson filed a lawsuit against him and Hard Copy. Although Dimond was dismissed from the lawsuit because of "journalistic integrity" (which should not even be used in the same sentence with the name "Diane Dimond"), Gutierrez was forced to pay Jackson $2.7 million in damages.
The Story by Taymoor Marmarchi, Neverland Worker
On one of my trips to Neverland, a Mexican worker who took care of the grounds of Michael's main residence, confided to me in Spanish and shared a fascinating story that both shocked and clarified how people in Michael Jackson's life take advantage, manipulate, twist the truth and create malicious lies about him, all for the sake of money.
The worker began to whisper to me, afraid he may be overheard and questioned why he was revealing such confidential yet incredibly important information that must be shared with the rest of the world.
He began telling me that one day back in '92/'93 before Michael's heavy scheduled 'Dangerous' Tour, there was a bbq and swimming pool party that Michael hosted for a group of friends, both youngsters and adults at Neverland.
After a couple of hours, Michael got out of the pool and went to shower and dry off. The worker noticed that a young boy also excused himself from the pool after Michael. He went to look for him and followed him to discover that the boy was in the bathroom where Michael was showering. Not in the shower with him, but rather shockingly spying and scanning Michael's naked body through the shower, from a corner of the bathroom. The worker immediately shouted at him and asked, 'What the hell are you doing up here?' Michael heard the worker yell, discovered the boy in his bathroom and told him to take the boy back down to the pool, thinking nothing of it.
When the boy returned to the pool he glanced over at his mother, who was present and sunbathing by the pool, and gave her a sign of acknowledgement, as if he had accomplished whatever he set out to do. In fact, the worker said that he had seen the woman signal to her son that Michael had left the pool, as an indication to exit.
That same boy later claimed in Aug '93, that Michael Jackson had sexually molested him, his name was Jordie Chandler.
Chandler infamously told police vivid details of how Michael Jackson's genitalia appeared, as a certain guarantee to the world, that Michael must have been guilty of these heinous accusations.
Of course he knew how to describe the different skin shades and color blemishes in Michael's private parts, he was spying on him in the shower that day to prepare for an incredible extortion attempt for millions of dollars, meticulously and carefully planned by a family of professional con artists and scammers.
